What Are the Rights of the Personal Data Owner Under Article 11 of the Law No. 6698?

As personal data owners, you have the following rights under Article 11 of the Law titled “Rights of the Related Person”:

  • • To learn whether your personal data is processed,
  • • If your personal data has been processed, to request information about it,
  • • To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used appropriately for that purpose,
  • • To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred, domestically or internationally,
  • • To request correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or inaccurately processed and to request that the process be notified to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
  • • To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data when the reasons necessitating processing no longer exist, and to request that the process be notified to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
  • • To object to the emergence of a result against you by analyzing your processed data exclusively through automated systems,
  • • To request compensation for damages in case you suffer loss due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.

As personal data owners, if you submit your requests regarding your rights to our email address or postal address specified under the title “Identity of the Data Controller” in the Customer Information Text, Yedpar will respond to your request free of charge in accordance with the nature of your request, within the shortest time and no later than thirty (30) days. However, if the process incurs additional costs, a fee will be charged according to the schedule determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.

This Cookie Information Text may be updated to comply with changing processes and the Law. At Yedpar, we may discontinue the use of cookies on our site, change their types or functions, or add new cookies to the site. We kindly ask you to visit our site regularly for possible updates.
